Dr. Zainab Mohammodu is a board-eligible dermatologist with a passion for general and cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer prevention, and treatment, as well as inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne. She is experienced in complex dermatologic conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails and sees patients of all ages. Her formal education and training include:

During her training, Dr. Mohammodu was both Chief Resident and Cosmetic Curriculum Chair, overseeing the cosmetic dermatology curriculum, coordinating didactics, providing hands-on training sessions, and serving as the liaison between faculty and residents to enhance educational experiences. She is a resident member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and was awarded the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS) Resident Aesthetic Research Mentorship. She has contributed to several research studies, presentations, and articles.
In her spare time, Dr. Mohammodu enjoys creating content for social media, watching movies and television shows, sampling and cooking new foods, and spending time with family. She also loves to travel and hopes to visit every country in Africa within the next five years.
